WORK EXPERIENCE:

Borusan Mannesman April 1, 2022

Lab Tech /Operator: As a lab tech I cut a 2 ft barrel off of the pipe with acetylene and plasma torches. These barrels are brought to the lab and I then use the CNC to cut tensile, charpy, chem and hardness samples for testing. I conduct all tests and document recordings. I perform light maintenance and cleaning of the equipment and devices used in the lab. I assist auditors with micro testing by locating and cutting the area with the defect out of the pipe. I then the thru the defect with a saw and use a microscope to determine the classification of said defects. I keep track of inventory and order what is needed for the lab and flattening, and I issue PPE. I order said items from the onsite warehouse. I conduct shift safety meetings and keep records of said meetings. I conduct daily verifications and safety inspections of equipment and keep records. I communicate with the yard and forklift operators as well as the Hydro Unit to coordinate plant activities based off where the pipe is housed in the yard. I operate a forklift and overhead crane. I train new employees for flattening and in the lab. I delegate assignments to the flattening operators based off of current work load. I plan the daily coordination of plant operations based off current and future work orders. I generate and email departmental reports as required by each duty. I started at Borusan as Quality at Shipping and Receiving where I checked outgoing pipe to make sure the stencil information matched the information on the shipping tags. Tags found to be wrong were re-printed and replaced. I also checked the pipes for defects and flaws. I assisted in checking in and on-loading/off-loading of trucks.

RAM Underground LLC May 2018 to April 2022

As owner/operator of RAM Underground I handled all daily coordination and operations. I handled the hiring, payroll, human resource issues, purchasing, onboarding, contracts, scheduling assignments, maintenance of vehicles and equipment, all property/project restorations and final inspections of projects. I also performed typical labor such as digging man-holes, hauling equipment, and pulling fiber.

Dept. of Family and Protective Services: CPS & APS April 2015 to Sept. 2020

As a Child Protective Services Investigator I was responsible for assessing, identifying, and documenting cases of abuse and/or neglect and determining appropriate action to be taken to reduce dangers and remove immediate threats to the safety of the child/children. I conducted interviews with people in the case such as the parents, caregivers, the person who reported the concern, family members, and others familiar with the family situation. I was responsible for documenting relevant information during the investigation. I collaborated and maintained effective work relationships with law enforcement, attorneys, judicial officials, medical professionals and the community. I also served as a social worker for each case by identifying and providing resources in each family’s area that would fix the situation and allow the child to stay at home. If the investigation determined a risk of immediate danger to the child/children if left in or allowed to return to their home that could not be resolved at that time I would remove any/all child/children identified as at risk from the home. I would work with the family to locate a relative or a close friend of the family for placement. If no placement could be found I would do foster care placement. I worked under constant deadlines that required prioritizing tasks and the ability to work flexible hours. My last year with the agency I moved over to Adult Protective Services where I was an Investigative Specialist. I was given assignments pertaining to adults in precarious situations. I went out and assessed the person to make sure they fit the definition of a client. If they met the requirements I would then asses their situation. All immediate dangers were removed and resources were determined and implemented to alleviate each client’s situation.

Liberty-Chambers Co. Community Supervision Dept. June 2010 thru Sept. 2015

As a probation officer I conducted client in-take and office visits. I assessed each client’s progress and compliance monthly to promote successful completion of probation. I staffed client noncompliance/issues and implemented appropriate sanctions. I would present progress reports to the District and County Attorney’s offices as well as the court. I conducted risks/needs assessments for each client and created and maintained supervision plans. I prepared court documents as needed throughout the case. I performed data entry and maintained probation files. I was the Substance Abuse Felony Punishment Facility Coordinator as well as the Community Service Coordinator for all of Chambers County.
