Resume:

Made a Apple Developer by, Steve Jobs, and, a Microsoft Developer, by, Bill Gates in 1986, I am well versed, and, up-to-date on the latest video production techniques. Working with Apple, Adobe, Radius and Media-100, beta testing, and developing their initial, on-line video editing products for the US market, at a time, when desktop editing was in its infancy. I was first to place desktop edited video on Viacom for Media-100, which, earned it, a broadcast rating helping to propel sales skyward. At around the same time, I introduced, at a seminar, hosted at Laser Edit East, in New York City, showcasing CosaEffects•, a small independent company, who pioneered motion graphics software, to Adobe Computer, who, purchased the company, and, its two developers eventually created Adobe AfterEffects•; The rest is history. I’m dyslectic from birth.

Working via my own consulting company, Peacehawks LLC, here’s some of the solutions provided:

Time, Inc.

Introduced them to desktop publishing, Quark Express, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

Consolidated Edison

Provided original script describing their Switching Monitoring Station and its effectiveness in avoiding major electrical malfunction and blackouts.

The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation

Introduced and installed Media-100 at their, in-house, digital video editing facility, saving them in excess of $25 million, the first year installed.

The Korean National TV Association

Introduced the association to Media-100 digital video editing and facilitated in their opening a franchise in Seoul, South Korea.

Laser Edit East

Installed digital desktop editing via Video Toaster and Media100.

Paul Robeson Foundation

Designed, implemented the Paul Robeson Centennial website. Using the Adobe collections of programs as; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other 3rd party software, available at the time, hand coding, the initial celebratory, Centennial Paul Robeson website, for the Paul Robeson Foundation.

MTV

Converted them to Media-100 for on-line editing of music videos.

MTA (NYC,Metropolitan Transportation Authority)

Installed the Video Toaster, converting them from conventional analog video editing equipment.

Panasonic, USA

Introduced Nationally, their Post Box digital editing system.

ASPIRA, Inc of New Jersey

Created a 3 Live switching camera, TV studio with 4 Final Cut editing bays, for at risk youngsters.

Casita Maria

Designed, purchased and installed a computer lab, consisting of 52 computers, fully networked via WAN & LAN. Produced, shot, and, edited 20-minute documentary video, which, went viral in 1991.

Graphic for Industry, Inc.

Converted them from manual graphic design to computer design, networking across all departments via LAN.

AICP (Association of Independent Commercial Producers)

Digitized their bid-form (the industry standard) in Excel. Create a Macro, which works, to this day, containing all of the 14 Unions, rules, and pay rates. Created a relational actualizing database in 4D, to reconcile the bids.

CitiBank

Created databases and storage solutions, in 4D to archive paper files (1990).

PanAm (Pan American Airlines)

Integrated their 21 IBM’s and mainframes with 2 Macintosh Plus’s via LAN (1986)

Shot, and edited an Interviewed of, Mark Schubin, Production Coordinator, on location, for Metropolitan Opera televised global events, covering the history of Opera, from the 1600’s, to 2008, relating engaging stories, some history, and his production experience, broadcasting live Met performances.
