I am a mature, very experienced, and hard working woman, who is a dedicated mother with my #1 goal being to provide for my family, which consists of myself, my daughter (my life), my disabled husband, and my fully functional 96 yr old father. That being said, I have had many trainings and certificates in a plethora of career pathways.
From beginning my employment history at the bright young age of 14 years old, working with troubled teens in a residential setting, I truly fell in love with this position and with the children, I worked with. I worked for Henderson county youth services for approx 3 or 4 years, My next job was finally in the health care industry, and i worked in that industry for 2 years. That was the shortest work experience, as the health care industry was much less about caregiving and much more about covering legal liabilities. I was greatly disappointed in what I had hoped to be a career in serving people in need. Following the disillusionment i experienced in health care, I worked for many years as the helper to my husband in his roofing business. I rejoined the workforce in the late 2000's, this is where i am starting my work history. July 2010-SEPT 2013

ALSO THRU LOCAL CHURCHES WE PARTICIPATED IN THE PROGRAM CALLED “ROOM AT THE INN” PROVIDING HOPE,, PEDICURES, AND HAIRCUTS TO LOVAL HOMELESS WOMEN. WE ALSOWORKEDWITHA SHELTER SUPPORTING BATTEREDWOMENANDTHEIRCHILDREN. IT WAS EXTREMELY FULFILLING AND MADE MORE OF A DIFFERENCE THAT COSMETOLOGY GETS CREDIT FOR. I CONSIDER MYSELF THE HANDS AND FEET OF JESUS, LIFTING PEOPLE UP BY MAKING THEM FEEL GOOD ABOUT THEMSELVES WHILE PROVIDING A NON-JUDGEMENTAL EAR TO LISTEN, SYMPATHIZE, AND SHARE OUR OWN HOPE FILLED EXPERIENCES.
