Responsible for procurement of E&I. Facilitated model review, HAZOP, internal coordination meetings. Developed the project management plan, tie-in procedure guidelines for all project disciplines’ adherence. Lead I&C Engineer WorleyParsons, Monrovia CA
● Lead Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, Aramco -BI-10-14224 Hawiyah Unayzah Gas Reservoir Storage: In accordance with Aramco standards generated the Pre-FEED/ FEED package for instrumentation. Led a team of 20 engineers and designers including GID (INDIA) component. Scope included functional specification for PCS, budgetary estimate for MAC, in-line instrumentation and MTO, man hour estimate, progress reporting, technical bid evaluation for MAC, SCADA/RTU. Provided LSTK support.
● Instrument and Control Engineer/GID coordinator/IK Interface coordinator, SoCalGas-Blythe Compressor Replacement Project: In collaboration with SoCalGas and chief engineer, generated all inline instruments datasheet template in Aveva. Responsible for the requisition, sizing and specifying control valve, on-off valve, PZVs and regulators.
● Lead Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, WorleyParsons Epic project- Project was aimed at reducing the manhour for instrumentation in generating the datasheets on each project via standardizing the datasheet template in SPI and automating the engineering effort during design development. Responsibilities include supervision and mentoring of young engineers in the development of engineering tools, gathering all lessons learnt from different projects for corporate records and supporting the Engineering Director and finance group to close all the pending Project cost accounts.
● Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, Aramco- BI-10-1996/2029 Gas Plant in Haradh and Hawiyah FEED - Project for gas plant to accommodate flow of gas for the next (20) years and supplement sales gas and condensate. Responsibilities included was aimed at proforma for the control system BI-02029, coordination with Mumbai and Monrovia team for design and engineering deliverables, coordination between to BI’s for interface and In kingdom team for master interface register and interface management plan and worked on the on-off valves datasheets and helped in closing of the project.
● Instrumentation and Controls Engineer/GID Coordinator, Aramco BI-10-01760-Increment ethane recovery facilities: The project was designed to install a NGL deep recovery facility at UGP to recover additional valuable ethane and propane- plus product responsible for P&ID development, coordination with team in Mumbai for SPI and datasheet support. In addition, was working on MOV, On-off valves, venturi tube, relief valve datasheet checking/preparation and worked on cause-and-effect matrix.
● instrumentation and controls engineer, red leaf eco Shale in -Capsule pilot scale plant - Designed to produce high quality liquid transportation fuels from oil shale. Responsible for the boiler package developing requisition for flow, temperature and pressure instruments and SPI.
● Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, BP Alaska Projects – stock tank vapor: This was an intermediate pressure, compressor replacement project: Responsible for developing the requisitions for flow, temperature and pressure instruments, pressure regulators, I/P convertors, Junction boxes, bulk material. Checker for control valves transmitters, level gauges. Responsibilities also included working on the wiring diagram control system, EWP as per BP standards and worked on the newly adopted MMn system with BP material master team.
● Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, Long Ford conditioning plant (FEED), Australia/Exxon Mobil – generated the project design specification addendums for instruments referring to the Global Practices. Collaborating with Australian team / Exxon Mobil for the project by following the Australian codes standards, regulation, and practices. Worked on the SPI, HAZOP reviews. Instrument Engineer, Technip Inc. Claremont, CA (2008-2009) Geetika’s projects with Technip included the following:
● Baton Rouge Hydrogen plant (Air product): Responsible for specifying and procuring safety valve, sizing for flow elements and control valves, level, on-off valves, MOV for the project.
● Sinclair Tulsa hydrogen plant – Engineer responsible for specifying and procuring safety valve, sizing for flow elements and control valves, level, on-off valves, MOV for the project. Research and Development Engineer, Steurung Anglae Ltd., Hyderabad, India (1999-2001) Geetika performed on several basic engineering contracts in the electronics and gas processing industry.
● Circuit design of single-phase energy saver and implemented it to gain 40% saving in the electric energy used by single- phase motors to pump water. Cap- start/induction-run motor was used with the start capacitor. Monitor the temperature and roper working of the circuit was incorporated into the project overall design. As an R&D engineer reported to the project manager and was responsible for coding of the microchip used in the circuit board as part of the trigger circuit enhancement, was involved in testing and delivery of the project deliverables.
● Display of current and voltage/wattage flowing through high tension supply line involving related parameters that are higher than the range of stipulated parameters, a circuit breaker would cut off the supply after a predefined amount of time. When below the predefined limit, switching over to the backup devices is required. The system was tested manually and with QTP to check for bugs. Responsible for programming in “C -Language” for displaying voltage and other related parameters by microchip in the high voltage supply lines, maintained/ created traceability between requirements and test cases. verified the triggers and procedures to validate table relation and data integrity.
