Summary of Experience:
More than 23 years in construction supervision, quality control, and site safety, including performing accurate takeoffs, estimating, budgeting, contracting, purchasing, and invoicing. Further, ensuring that jobsite safety and quality control plans are implemented and maintained. Experience in full, on-site construction management and land development; effectively schedule, monitor, and inspect all work is completed safely from start to finish to meet all design specifications and building codes. Duties & Responsibilities as Site Safety Health Officer/SSHO:
Manages, implements/enforce the Contractor' Safety & Health Program in accordance with the accepted/approved APP.
Ensure that all employees are wearing the prescribed safety and health equipment at jobsite at all times.
Conducts Weekly Safety & Tool box meetings and Training among employees.
Prepare and Conducts Activity Hazard Analysis for each DFOW/ Competent and Qualified Personnel will be specifically identified.
Secure all necessary permits required prior to start of Electrical-Mechanical installation. (E.g. Hot-work permit, Confined space entry permit etc.)
Conducts accident investigation and proper documentation/reporting.
Ensure that all work is in accordance to requirements as per EM 385-1-1.
Conducts and documents daily Safety and Occupational health inspections. (To include follow-up inspections)
Notifies the Government for any OSHA or other regulatory agency inspection and provide GDA a copy of the citations or reports issued by the inspector.
Review and update as necessary all Safety & Health documents for the project.
Immediately stop work when an employee is deemed to be in imminent danger of serious injury or loss of life.
Impose immediate action to eliminate any Safety and Health that poses danger to the employees and to the public. (Unsafe working conditions and practices)
Conducts briefing among government representative visit and escort them during site visit.
Maintain a copy/file of Safety & Health documents at jobsite readily available upon demand of any government representative to include MSDS, APP, accepted AHA’s, emergency contact numbers etc.
