Managed/supervised staff of 14 trades and all contractors associated with the maintenance of 52 New Haven Public School buildings

Point of contact for all faculty and staff for any and all facility related issues as they pertained to safety, physical plant operation, renovation, etc.

Westport Public Schools, Westport, CT 1996-2011

Responsible for $5 million budget preparation and oversight as it related to facilities management.

Oversaw 5 school renovation and new construction projects with a value of over $200 million.

Managed/supervised staff of 56 custodians, 8 maintenance personnel, Supervisor of Building Operations and 2 secretaries in maintenance of 8 public schools and 2 accessory structures with over 1.3 million square feet.

Prepared bid specifications as they pertained to numerous small and large capital and refurbishment projects including hiring of contractors, oversight of projects,

review and approval of payments and preparation of final punch lists. Monitored projects for quality control.

Developed and presented annual facilities budget for review and acceptance by

the Board of Education.

Responsible for $1.5 million budget as it relates to facilities management

Planning and supervision of all maintenance and custodial staff as they pertained to the upkeep of all school facilities.
