Setting up an IT governance organization to ensure effective Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) 2021 introduced framework, Nation Cybersecurity Agency (NCA), Data Governance and Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (Enacted Sep 2021).
Spearheaded a comprehensive transformational initiative for Alistithmar Capital, a fully owned subsidiary of SAIB, revolutionizing their asset management and trading systems. This high-impact project encompassed: Modernization of equity, bond, and Islamic Sukuk trading platforms Implementation of advanced order placement and fulfillment systems Seamless integration with the Saudi Exchange Market (Tadawul) Deployment of a cutting-edge, fully automated portfolio management system.
Setting up, sourcing, and operational model of an enterprise data warehouse program. Daily ETL layer of 9+ core applications, data marts and equipped with Power BI for 3 major business units were deployed, in addition to data governance function, data glossary, and data flow and lineage were developed and maintained.
Assumed the role of Retail banking systems development and support head where solutions portfolio spanned core personal banking applications, payment and remittance, spectrum of self-serviced delivery channels (Internet, Mobile, ATM/Kiosks, POS, and Contact Center).
Designed and put in action vendor management processes in one of the largest bank in the region including vendors’ classification, on boarding, awarding and delivery cycle monitoring.
Managed a program to deploy an enterprise risk management platform addressing regulatory Basel II & III, local regulatory compliance and internal governance and audit rules.

Setting up an IT governance function to interpret newly introduced regulatory requirements related to IT, Cybersecurity, Business Continuity, Data Privacy, and more effective implementation of specific industry framework such as PCI DSS.
Enterprise architecture Avolution Abacus was levered to maintain policies, layout controls, self-assessment, and track initiatives designed to achieve level 5 maturity. EPMO Program Manager, Enterprise Strategy & EPMO
Managed 5+ enterprise data warehouse program. The cycle included conceptualizing enterprise requirements, qualify pilot business candidates and cases, awarding to vendors’ consortium, shortlisting bets fit technologies. Currently end-users community encompass more than 90% of SAIB departments. The platform became de facto one-stop-shop for enterprise reporting and major input for marketing department to come up with new business cases and analyze and simulate different what-ifs scenarios.

Managed an overhaul program to replace assets management and equity, bonds, and Islamic Sukuk trading of fully owned SAIB subsidiary, Alistithmar Capital. The program included orders placing, orders fulfilling, integration with Saudi Exchange Market Tadawul. A fully automated system to support portfolio funds manager was deployed including regulatory, decision making, settlement back-end reporting system.
