● Helped bring recreational activities and supplies to various parks in Auburn through the city of Auburn’s mobile recreation program Rec N Roll.

● Gained experience working with children by leading sports, creating games, and making craft activities for mobile recreation program, summer camps, and events through the Auburn community center.

● Interacted with families of various cultures and backgrounds and provided resources for free lunch programs.

Department of Children, Youth, and Families, Tacoma, WA - Full time job August 2023 - August 2024

● Helped support cases by setting up drug tests for parents, doing parent training and parent education referrals, uploading documents, doing collateral contacts, case noting, health and safety visits, writing court reports, articulating safety threats, writing safety assessment, as well as requesting medical, dental, and educational records. Helped create a permanency plan for children that require either reuniting with their parents, filing guardianship, or adoption packets. Submitted guardianship and adoption paperwork to court.

● Gained experience speaking on record in court, interacting with children, youth, and parents, and recognizing safety threats for children and youth. 2

● Engaged in Shared planned meetings, narcan training, Quality Youth Contact training, Family Team Decision Making meetings, and court hearings that contributed to the development of my learning and professionalism.
