Summary

I have been fortunate enough to be with IBM since March of 1979. During those years, I've performed many roles including manufacturing, IT access management, System 370 support, Management of IT services, Payroll Management, Expense related fraud detection and most recently various Management positions within the Travel & Expense Organization.

I retired as of June 30, 2024. Prior to my retirement, I managed IBM's Global Travel & Expense Operation with a primary focus on support for both North and Latin American countries. In addition, I was the IBM HR Program Manager for our relationship with American Express for Corporate cards and also manage our relationships with 3rd party vendors who support IBM's Travel & Expense Operation.

Managing a Global Program at IBM using data analytics to monitor compliance to expense reimbursement policy. Also as part of this role, I am the HR liaison for IBM's Corporate card program with American Express. Most recently, I led a project to change Corporate card providers for the IBM Corporation. This entailed working through the RFP process, provider evaluation and selection, and awarding of the contract. Once approved and announced, I effectively led the Global team to implement the new program that covered 100,000 card holders across 80 countries. In Partnership with the new provider, we completed the implementation in only 7 months, which was a herculean effort. I give all the credit to my team spread across the world and accredit it to their professionalism, commitment and effective communication.
