I shipped oculus headsets and controllers, all quest 2. We’d receive packages from companies like Amazon and Fed Ex; we’d get returns and those turned into scrap work. It was my job to go through all the cardboard scrap to make sure there weren’t anything like batteries, charging blocks, and or charging cords. From then I’d wrap the Gaylord’s that the clear scrap was transferred to, label it cardboard and place a green sticker on there indicating that it’s paper material then we’d ship them out to companies who are based on recycling and eco friendly work.

What we did in shipping was; take boxes shipped to us from different companies off of the line, grab a yellow tote which the items from inside the boxes go in and scan it as “destination container”, scan the box of the item as container. I’d then proceed to scan the item inside the box and either give it a asin sticker or sort it out in specific yellow totes located across from my station. We’d then ship whichever totes we were done with down the line to outbound. Line Loader

All I did was load the line for our stockers. I’d grab the cart for our orders, grab salad, and help break up cheese sometimes. In other cases it’s grab inserts, bowls, and forks; whatever we may need to make our salads. I’m the one who goes and grabs those things so we could hit our production rate for the day and continue to help the assembly line make salad bowls. Education
