Knoop, Inc 3/01 – 2/02
I was the bookkeeper for this drywall company. Responsibilities included AP, AR, payroll, etc. Excel & Lotus for job costing, payroll, and monthly billing on AIA form. From those reports I transferred information to Quickbooks Pro for invoicing and monthly statements, balanced three bank accounts, made transfers & deposits. Victory Termite & Pest Control 10/96 – 11/99
Started as a secretary and as the company grew so did my knowledge and was promoted to office manager. We opened a fumigation department which had separate books. AP, AR, & payroll were done separately so time & material were a very important part of bookkeeping because all of us wore at least two hats getting paid from both accounts.
Arias & Shields, M.D., P.A.11/94 – 10/96
Front desk receptionist. Pulled charts for the day, scheduled appointments, called in hospital admits, took messages re: lab work, refills, admit orders for hospital and nursing home, as well as hospital consultation requests. Return calls with Dr.’s orders for the above.
Scott Behler, MD, PA 6/92 – 10/95
I worked part time bookkeeping, billing, front & back office for Dr. Samuel Register. Learned the basics of bookkeeping & Ophthalmology, using day sheets & ledgers. When Dr. Behler bought the practice I learn a lot in a short time & I ‘computerized the office’. Wonderful person, Dr. Behler was always challenging himself & his staff.
