American Embassy Bogota Colombia – Colombia

I was in charged to process all procurement payments for 55 agencies subscribe to Bogota, including Blanked Purchase Agreements, contracts, non-procurement payments, official business reimbursements, stipends, Journal vouchers, procurement payments, hospitalization and Physical exams, task orders, Official Residences expenses (ORE), petty cash, allowances and benefits and other vouchers in ILMS Invoicing module. This function includes large and complex contracts as the local guard program, gasoline, construction, manual purchase cards reconciliations and purchase orders. My portfolio also included cell phone services, internet, phone land lines, satellite, and others, covering other locations as Barranquilla, and Bogota. Those payments were processed in the invoicing platform and monthly reconciliations had to be done to each agency/section account. Also I processed and pay all US dependent educational payments to local schools in Bogota, Cartagena, US schools (away from post), and other locations (home schooling). Also I had to close detail review and audit for educational portfolio tracking education expenses as tuition, registration, one-time fee, transportation, technology fee, supplementary expenses, SNEA and other allowances acceptable under Department of State Standardized Regulations (DSSR). During the last four years I was in charged to process Venezuelan payments as an extra duty, that included, reimbursements, and procurement contract payments. One of the most important duty that I was assigned, was Trainer Coordinator in which I had to train new employees coming to the Financial Section on how to process payments, also I had to train the Agencies in the Embassy's Reimbursement Module.
