Career break:

Cashier- Responsible for greeting all customers with courtesy and respect. Ensure that all items are price labeled correctly and handle all transactions including discount processing. Stocking, cleaning, and establishing a neat and tidy facility. Maintain security related to theft according to policy.
Arizmendi Bakery- February 2022- April 2022
Temporary Member- Prepare cold and hot meals. Serve customers with integrity and respect. Maintain cleanliness of the facility. Work as a cashier handling all forms of payments for products. At closing time, run settlements, clean and prepare all foods for the next working day. Oakland Police Department- February 2009-September 2019 Police Records Specialist Duties: Customer Service, worked various positions including: Teletype, Counter, In-custody/phones, Public Records Request Unit, Tow Letters, and CRIMS. I worked on the following computer programs as needed to perform the duties, CORPUS, CRIMS, Cal-photo, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Assist with the payroll for all of the employees of the Oakland Police Department, through the Oracle system. In charge of each specific department's employees time and attendance for every week of work, data entry, typing, filing, proofreading and making sure each employee for my departments are accounted for and paid accordingly. Safeway Grocery Store- February 2001- January 2009 Journeyman Food Clerk: Operated the cash register, stocked shelves, and provided exceptional customer service in a fast paced environment. Stocked and opened the produce department every morning. Assistant Manager: I oversaw all store operations and employees. Handled personnel issues and customer service issues. Handled the Money Booth by distributing cash to the cashiers, and office work including payroll, hiring new employees, and training all new employees. Night Crew: Bring in and unload incoming trucks with products being delivered. Distribute products to the correct departments and stock shelves according to their specific placement. Deli Clerk: Prepare cold and hot meals, party trays, operate slicing machines, deep fryers, and the ovens while maintaining safe food handling procedures according to policy.
