Philosophy:

Delivering, as a team, holistic care addressing the whole of the client; I believe in that which supports and nurtures the body, mind and spirit of every man, woman, and child; they are far more than a diagnosis and an associated treatment plan, and their lives are far richer than the short narrative recorded in their charts. Empowerment and the opportunity for personal growth remain extremely important, we empower through truth, the truth of our very being—our journey, as well as our homecoming. An institution must, itself, be healthy in order to aid those in need of its services; we can only provide effective treatment when we fearlessly seek to find that which waits behind the masks we wear—masks fashioned from the fears and injuries of a lifetime. Many of our clients have survived pandemonium only imagined by others. Goals:

1. Advocating for the client, not only as a customer, but as an investor, an individual with a unique perspective concerning his/her perceived needs, desires, hopes and dreams. 2. Supporting the continuing health and welfare of each client through the utilization of the most current bio-psycho-social rehabilitation modalities available, assisting him/her in achieving optimum mental health, personal well-being and social functioning. 3. Cultivating a professional relationship with the client, their family (as indicated), and the Interdisciplinary Team, facilitating continued growth and understanding of addiction. 4. Encouraging open, interactive communication, affording each individual the opportunity to engage in treatment and rehabilitation that fosters full cooperation, allowing him/her to safely take risks, make decisions, and experience the results of those decisions in a sup- portive, confidence-promoting, environment.

5. Acknowledging and supporting each individual’s participation as a complete partner in reaching their full potential by assisting them in discovering the world in which they live, how it works and how they play a part in it; as well as providing them continuing opportu- nities to remain a productive member of society, and a chance to be proud of who they are

(this often includes developing the skills necessary to take ownership of one’s behavior, as well as the outcome).

6. Maintaining the highest standards while striving to meet not only the needs and goals of the client and the establishment, but all pertinent licensing agencies, as well. Affiliations:
