I have worked in sales since I was 18 years old, so for 30 years I have worked in telemarketing, retail, fast food, door to door or some other type of sale. I received my SC Insurance License in 1999. I sold Life, accident and health for 20+ years. I have worked for Hyatt-Shingler Insurance Agency in Columbia, SC, as my first job I got leads for Doug Hyatt and made $200 a week just for getting people interested enough to call him and then I made 20% off of every sale that he made from my leads. This was a terrific start for a single mother of three because I worked from home. I moved back to Horry County, SC, where I was raised and I started working with Combined Insurance Company of America in September 2001 ( after 9/11 ) and worked with them until 2002 when I went to work for Monumental Life Insurance Company, I worked with them until 2006.
