Career Experience

I have been doing Estimating/Project Management in construction and insurance related business for 30+ years, Cat Adjusting and restoration contracting for the past 11+ years. I am familiar with collaborating with adjusters, contractors, sub-contractors, and owners to reach an equitable resolution for all parties involved.

Maintaining contact with the Customers. Explaining the process of the claim experience and keeping the customers informed and updated. Updating Exact Analysis with the progression of the claims. Obtaining pertinent information regarding the claim from the customer. Contacting and or assigning investigators as needed. Assigning affiliate mitigation contractors and restoration contractors as needed. Processing the claims I estimated. Deciding if losses were covered, a partial denial or total denial of coverage letter was needed, based upon their policy. 2020 - 2021 Project Management / Estimator, Insurance Restoration – For Platinum Restoration. Assumed position, working on behalf of an Insurance Restoration Contractor. My position entailed, contacting insured customers, and establishing time to meet to discuss restoration projects, informing the customer of the restoration process and estimated extent of the loss, then sending the finished estimate to the customer and desk adjuster. I also scheduled multiple projects/phases of restoration work, procured materials, scheduled subcontractors, maintained consistent communication with multiple customers regarding progress and problems as they arose.

• Scheduled multiple projects in various phases of restoration work. Led and scheduled in-house crews and subcontractors based on specifications outlined in Xactimate and project estimator notes. Procured materials needed to complete projects and, provided emergency temporary board ups from fires and vehicle impacts, including roof tarping, and water mitigations.
