Reuse of Buffing Mops
Reducing the number of Buffing Mops an operator uses per buffed Ford Sportsbar without affecting the quality of the parts,by placing a bin which assisted them in checking if the buffing mop is used up or not, this applied for both the hard and soft mops.(This project was saving around R200k to 350k per month) Optimising the scrap process
Improving the scrap process to allow the company to track how much scrap in going out and to know how much the company will be receiving.(This project saved <R50 000) per month. Reuse of orbital sanding disks
The blending operators use the exterior of the sanding disks and stores in a bin for the sanding operators to use the internal area that is not used on the disk.(R100k to R150k per month) Gustav Miller - Horizon Global SA
