Quality Assurance June 2019-August 2022
Quality control of sensor: I am responsible for quality control of sensors during the production of multi- axis load cells. I verify that each process is done as per the standard specifications.
Data analysis: I analyze data collected from different quality control stages using statistical tools such as descriptive statistics, box and whisker plots, 7-tools of quality, and the six-sigma technique.
Final inspection and sensor test: Responsible for programming, testing and evaluating sensor-based output data. Check and assemble the JR3-built power supply and perform final inspection and test before shipping.
Develop and update manufacturing and quality work instructions: Develop manufacturing and quality work instructions from scratch to meet AS9001A requirements. Examples of work instructions include but not limited to strain gage blast and bond, scrap and tin, wire and solder to make a wheat stone bridge, conformal quote application, final finish and oven soak procedures.
Analyze maximum displacement and stress on the body of the sensor using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) model: Use Abaqus software to analyze maximum and minimum stress nodes and corresponding displacement.
Perform root cause analysis and prepare report for returned products: Prepare initial report based on initial condition of the sensor, find out the root cause of the returned products, fix the sensor based on root cause analysis, prepare final report, and submit to customers.
Computer numerical control (CNC) Machine operation and programming: Develop programming based on the drawing and operate CNC machine to manufacture the multi axis load cells and other fixtures.
Hand on experience on manufacturing multi axis load cell: Working on manufacturing multi axis load cells and in depth understanding about installing and bonding strain gages, wire and solder etc.
Actively involved in achieving AS9001A certification: Maintain and control all production, quality and manufacturing document as per AS9001A requirement. Also, actively participate to understand the techniques and strategies to receive the certification.
Track project performance periodically to ensure both short-term and long-term goals are met Electricfil Corporation Elkmont, AL
Customer and Operational Quality Engineer Jan 2018-August 2018
Performed eight-discipline (8-D) analysis, communicated root cause, and developed permanent corrective actions relating to improve parts that customer complained about.
Coordinated to obtain results from internal and/or external labs as required, implemented effective containment actions, determined the root cause, and completed the required 8D analysis to provide response to customer in a timely manner.
Developed manufacturing work instructions (MWI) and quality work instruction (QWI) as standard references for operators during production of cam and crank sensors as well as trigger wheel. GM and Chrysler were the primary customers.
Identified root causes and implemented permanent corrective actions for the issues related to sensors in the production floor.
Analyzed customer data including customer portal and investigated opportunities for improvement and/or reduction of costs.
Perform regular assessment of project execution to identify areas for improvement Tasus Corporation (Plastic molding division) Florence, AL Project Engineer Sept 2014-March 2016
Prioritized and managed projects by coordinating with various teams from sales, tooling, design, quality, and engineering.
Prepared documents to obtain TS16949 certification, and closely involved in cross-auditing of process and quality control of products and equipment.
Coordinated with various departments to improve existing manufacturing systems, and performances in areas of quality, cost, delivery, and safety.
Developed project matrix sheet using MS Excel and conducted weekly project management meetings.
Analyzed and calculated plant/machine capacity based on the machine tonnage, size of molding parts, cycle time, material, and labor cost.
Created and updated bill of materials, tool code, packaging quantities, TASUS and customer part number, using TMM software.
Developed timeline for new projects using MS Project; followed up to complete pre-production processes and launched the project while coordinating with quality, processing, and tooling departments.
