Work Experience
Embraer S/A (August 2013 to January 2024)
●March 2023 to January 2024
After almost 4 years working as a Quality Engineering Supervisor, I accepted a new challenge of a career transition and work as an Interior Materials Engineer, in Embraer Executive Aviation Department. During this period, I prepared and analysed flammabiliy reports from Embraer Suppliers. I defined tests of maturity and flammability for new marerials. I was responsble for quality and delivery KPIs of flammability coupons.
●June 2019 to February 2023
In the middle of 2019, I was promoted to Quality Engineering Supervisor of the Manufacturing Department. There were 13 engineers and 4 interns reporting to me. My department was responsible for Quality Control Plans of Composite Manufacturing and Structural Assembly, PPAP, APQP, risk management, Quality KPIs, Quality tools (PFMEA, Statistical Analysis), corrective action management, RCCA and 8D analysis. Development of Procedures and Production Inspection Plans, working on the following manufacturing processes: composites, wiring, tubes, heat and surface treatment, metal machining, and structural assemblies (Wing and Fuselage Junction).
During this time, I had a lot of interaction with design and manufacturing engineering in the development of new designs and processes, process improvements and problem analysis solutions.
