• Monitor tank levels and check line ups of process with the tanks once per shift.
• Monitor compositions, temperatures, pressures, levels, and flows of unit equipment and adjustments as required to produce on-spec material in quantity to meet customer demand.
• Log temperature, pressure, flow and composition readings from the unit of frequency as outlined by the Shift Supervisor or Production Manager.
• Assist Engineering, Maintenance or other operators by performing test runs, troubleshooting problems, writing permits, preparing equipment for repair or other services required.
• Coordinate feed and product transfer.
• Catch samples, at the specified frequency, and run a GC analysis for each process stream and catch additional samples requested by lab, customer and engineering.
• Monitor analyzer compositions, temperatures, pressures, levels and flows of the utility equipment as required to produce adequate amount of utilities to meet the demands of the plant.
• Perform analytical procedures to ensure adequate protection on the boiler, utilities and piping systems. Also help optimize chemical, water and natural gas usage to minimize operating cost.
• Assisted with loading and unloading trucks and railcars into tanks.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed per loading requirements.
• Assisted with Pipeline Transfers.
