My commitment to nursing is as strong now as it was when I first graduated 33 years ago. The great enjoyment I get from helping others compels me to stay in this field and continue to do what I feel I do best. I have learned a great deal from each place I’m employed and plan to carry that knowledge and longevity to your institution. The time I have spent in each job has sharpened my nursing and people skills. I have learned that patience and caring are two very important parts of nursing. As you will see from my references, I am a hard and dedicated worker and will gladly go beyond the call of duty for my patients as well as my coworkers. Patient rights are as important to me as they are to the patient. Patient care must always come first.
