Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Worked on a crew that engaged in the maintenance of the country roads bridges, right of ways, street signs and other assigned structures and operated a wide of variety of light and heavy-duty equipment. Such as Dump trucks water trucks pick up trucks, mowers. Backhoes, d\bulldozers, rollers and graders.
Performed a combination of skilled equipment operation and manual labor to build and maintain county roads, street bridges related structures and right of way.
Perform manual labor to include patching potholes, sweeping and clearing and removing trach and debris from county right of way and hauling refused for deposit of specified locations.
Remove trees, grass and other growth at roadsides utilizing power equipment such as mowers, tractors and chain saws.
Performs preventative maintenance and minor repair on tools equipment and vehicles including checking changing oil refueling greasing and changing filters.

CONCRETE FINISHER

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Grading, setup, pouring and finishing concrete surfaces including concrete floor, sidewalks, curbs, and stairs.
Responsible for keeping a clean and safe jobsite and completing all tasks in a safe and productive manner.
Removes old concrete using skid steers and hand tools.
Grades to proper elevations using skid steers, shovels, and rakes checking heights using laser levels and string lines.
Properly lays out and constructs wooden forms.
Positions forms that hold concrete to correct depth and ensure they are properly aligned.
Installs rebar and wire mesh as called for in job specifications.
Removes unneeded materials from the worksite to a designated location, keeping a clean and safe worksite.
Moves large quantities of concrete into position using pumps, conveyors, grade rakes and wheel barrels.
Communicates with pump operators and truck drivers via hand signals to keep the flow on concrete and position of pumps, chutes and hoses.
Spreads and levels concrete using rakes, shovels, hand or power trowels, hand or power screeds, and floats.
Installs anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures as called for in job specifications into poured concrete before it hardens.
Finishes surfaces to produce final product as called for in job specifications using brooms, hand tools.
Acknowledges the importance of safety and PPE on the job site.
