World Vision Singida, Tanzania

Youth Ambassador September 2009 to May 2010

One of two Ambassadors selected from over 50 applicants. Organized and delivered seminars on Gender Empowerment and HIV/AIDS for Tanzanian audiences, one aimed to raise awareness of victims and to dissuade stigmas and the other to promote HIV/AIDS testing, emphasizing that youth and their families must test.

Seminars led to AIDS testing of 6 out of 10 seminar attendees.

Organized and ran several community environmental remediation projects in town and surrounding countryside.
