Summary

Current position: Senior Petrophysicist & team leader for multi-plans in the Exploration Department, Rashid Petroleum Company JV of (Shell & PETRONAS ( . An experienced, innovative, and energetic professional senior Petrophysicist with an excellent work track record and ethic. 20 years of hands-on experience from sitting rigs to managing and evaluation large oil and gas fields including exploration and development operations. This wealth of experience includes oil & gas exploration to achieve many projects with multidiscipline. like well sitting geology, operation geology, formation evaluation and leading teams for more opportunities and increase the production.

Senior Petrophysicist with strong background in operations and production petrophysics as well as reservoir description. I hold a Ph.D. in formation evaluation of conventional & unconventional reservoirs including clastic and carbonate targets. My job experience involves - Planning and interpretation of open-hole and cased-hole logs, - Developing and improving log models for porosity, permeability, water saturation and saturation-height functions through rock typing and calibration with core.

Work Experience 2004 to the present.

• 15 years of experience Performing petrophysical analysis and provided reservoir properties of Conventional and unconventional reservoirs including advanced Tools, magnetic resonance, formation image & sonic tools.

• 5 years of experience in exploration and development geology as wellsite & operation Geologist including vertical, deviated, and horizontal wells.

• Achieving formation evaluation of in Gas fields (Rosetta fields and West Delta Deep Marine fields) offshore Nile Delta, Egypt. Bed-1 concession oil field in western desert Egypt.

• Defined fluid contact based on available data integrating geophysical, geology and reservoir engineering data.

• Prepared & monitored wireline GR, Density, Neutron, resistivity, CMR, FMI, MDT & LWD logging program integrating multi disciplines requirements, i.e., geophysical, geological and petrophysical data.

• Prepared core analysis program for both RCA & SCAL.

• Completed re-evaluation on petrophysical logs for new & work over wells. Proposed additional zones to be perforated to enhanced hydrocarbon recovery.

• Work closely with geologists, production technologists and reservoir engineers on oil production monitoring using surface data acquisition as well cased hole logging.

• Prepared work scope and evaluated technical tender for wireline logging, LWD & core analysis

• Proposed MDT points for pressure and sampling and work together with reservoir engineer, operation geologist and geophysicist.

• Generate reservoir summary based on available petrophysical data

• Reviewed Petrophysical Interpretation for Rosetta, WDDM & Bed1 fields prior for Chemical EOR implementation consists of 55 wells.

• Completed petrophysical evaluation for 30 wells incorporating all available data i.e. open hole logs, mud logs, well test data, offsetting wells of simian-sienna and Sapphire fields.

• Core analysis preparation and application in minimizing petrophysical uncertainties.

• Operation Petrophysicist for exploration/development drilling campaign at offshore & onshore wireline-logging program for the deep-water project in Mediterranean Egypt.

• Plan, implement and update petrophysical program by application of cost-effective logging technologies and perform evaluation of petrophysical logs acquired throughout all phases

(exploration, appraisal, development, and production).

• Plan, monitor and review petrophysical technology advancement by studying and assessing in- house technology research and development, technology collaboration with partners, acquisition, outsourcing and benchmarking to ensure continuous availability of matured, cost effective and cutting-edge technology solution to support economic and sustainable development and production of hydrocarbon recovery technology at related fields.

• Ensure that all the OH & CH interpretations/studies are delivered in a timely manner with the right level of quality.

• QA/QC and interpretation of OH and CH logs, including conventional and non-conventional logging solutions.

• Processing of raw data using/adapting Petrophysical models.

• Delivery of well interpretation presentation, documents/reports to cross-functional audience.

• Support and provide petrophysical input into panel reviews and completion meetings, to support static and dynamic reservoir models.

• Demonstrate strong understanding of rig operations, mud gases and advanced cuttings analysis.

• Analysis, rock typing and facies analysis integrating well logs and core data.

• Interpret reservoir pressure testing and integrate with the petrophysical models to calibrate reservoir and fluid interpretations.

• Provide petrophysical solutions for marginal and tight reservoirs in both clastics and carbonates to capture hydrocarbon potential.

• Work with a multidisciplinary team to provide recommendations on minimizing formation damage and designing reservoir stimulation programs.

• Conduct detailed petrophysical studies integrating G&G and engineering data to optimize well planning, placement, and resource estimation.

• Provide Pre/Syn/Post-drilling support for exploration & development wells.

• Prepare and present professional-quality presentation materials to technical peers and management.

• Ensure that all aspects of well design, well placement and formation evaluation, from early planning, execution, acquisition, receipt and interpretation of the data, for all operated wells

(Fields and Exploration), are coherent with the well objectives and that achievements yield value- for-money.

• Acting as main operational point of contact internally and for all geological service companies involved in the drilling of wells and ensuring that contracted services are delivered as requested.

• Capable of providing petrophysical technical guidance, training and share best practices to other disciplines. Take a lead role in championing of new petrophysical interpretation approach and develop technical competencies •

• Perform cement log evaluation of new Exploration, Appraisal and Development wells, include any behind casing opportunity evaluation with cased hole saturation and production logs •

• Quality control, consolidate and manage petrophysics database which includes wells, logs data both raw and interpreted, cores, etc

• Achieving drilling and supervise drilling campaign in GPC & WEPCO with professional way and safely dealing with different nationalities.

Achievements

• Increasing the production from shallow and deep water with different teams in Rashpetco joint venture of Shell & Petronas (one from the largest gas company in Egypt) to the peak 2.4 BCF of gas daily with budget mor than 600,000,000. Six hundred million dollar per single phase.

• Implemented evaluation tests and field development to increase production 600 % by drilling new Exploratory, appraisal & development wells on new study concept in Bed1 concession (brown field from more than 40 years of production) and get the award with the corporation's team by Egypt's Minister of Petroleum.

• Drill deep water gas wells in Mediterranean with high efficiency and safely with cost more than 130,000,000 one hundred thirty million Dollar per well, with drillship Rig and water depth more than 2500 m. two thousand & five hundred meter.

• Drill unconventional reservoirs in both onshore (Western desert) & Offshore (Mediterranean) including, low resistivity pay (LRP), tight Reservoirs less than 6% porosity, heavy oil reservoirs in both clastic and carbonate which leaded to increase the daily oil & gas production alongside conventional reservoirs to (2.4 BCF of gas & 6500 bbl. of oil).

• Re-evaluate of legacy wells for EOR alongside the team in Bed1 concession (brown field) & make basket of different targets of workover wells which aided increase the production 600 % alongside with new wells.
