OBJECTIVE:

SKILLS:.

As a fire Captain for two years, I was assigned to Hollister Air Attack base.

As the ground supervisor. I managed ten Firefighters whose job was to

fuel, fill with fire retardant, water and other jobs associated with servicing

the air tankers. Once all done I would back the tankers out and to the

runway, similar to the Ramp Agent job. Safety was always first.

EXPERIENCE:

Twenty years in the fire service achieving the rank of Division Chief in the

California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL-FIRE). While

employed by this Fire Department I have held the ranks of: Lead

Information Officer, Bureau Chief of law enforcement, sworn peace officer

Post Certified. Held the ranks of Assistant to the Chief Deputy Director,

Fire Engineer, air attack certified, Captain, Battalion Chief and Division

Chief. Also I have worked as:

Planning Commission Chairman, Councilman and Vice Mayor of the City of

Winters. Served on the California State Assembly as a Senior Consultant.

Fifteen years as a News Photojournalist/Truck Operator for KCRA TV3

(Cameraman), Placer County Grand Jury and Placer County Fair Board are

just a few.
