● Taught Theatre and Musical Theatre to children, young adults, professional actors in New York City and Fort Worth, Texas.
● Inspired greatly by my Oral Interpretation of Literature classes, and performances at Northwestern University; subsequently studied at New York University, Gallatin Division, completed Masters Degree in Performance Art: inextricably melding the art forms of Acting/Dance/Singing.
● Wrote and Produced Original Play/Musical, as part of requirement for M.A.: included 8 performers, acting, dance, singing, called “Smiling Like A Stranger.” I have original copy of Thesis. (MA thesis and video recording in library of Gallatin School, NYU.)
● Honoured to be hired as a staff actor, regional theatre, New American Theatre, Rockford, Illinois, upon graduating from Northwestern University; worked under the direction of James R. Sullivan, seminal influence for focusing my M.A. in Theatre Directing.

Teaching/Leadership Skills
● Presenting my succinct syllabus, discussing the philosophy and expectations of the Theatre Department, outline what work will be graded, always invite the students to ask questions and express their concerns.
● Evaluate students’ primary learning styles: Kinesthetic, Visual, Auditory, Reading/Writing, and plan an individualised and group course of action.
● Assessing thoroughly in a timely manner, each students’ area of strengths, and areas which require improvement.
● Establishing trust and respect between myself and students, to encourage the most efficacious and imaginative manner in which to learn the Art of Theatre.
● Devising a class structure which includes lectures, discussions, projects, physical-emotional-vocal exercises — all to gradually present the many intricate layers which are the fundamentals of Theatre.
● Inviting the students to viscerally experience how studying the Craft and Art of Theatre: can increase their general sense of self-confidence, strengthen public speaking abilities, learn to explore and increase one’s creative thoughts.
● Imparting to students by the end of the class, whether they will continue to become a theatre major, or only take this one theatre class, that learning about and experiencing theatre, changes a person, for the rest of their lifetime.
● Expand their ability to observe and listen to the countless human interactions which take place all around them, every day; as though after taking the class, they are looking at life through a more intricate kaleidoscope of beautiful possibilities.
