Shipboard System analyst is responsible for supporting the CCL fleet IT systems.
Responsible for 60 plus different applications, including Point of Sale and Iverson Casino system, shipboard system’s server management, and testing and creating new application installation, troubleshooting methods, and user manuals. SME for ship’s Dry Dock, New Build, PBX, network expansions, and hardware replacements.

Creating new policies and procedures for the fleet.
Onboard team lead for 25+ IT dry dock projects.
Participated five new builds and the last three of them as the onsite contact for the shipyard.
Created cabling requirements for these projects based on the Yard drawings together with the various business units to fulfill their IT needs. This involved AutoCAD and Visio drawings and diagrams.
Worked closely with the network engineering group, VOIP, WIFI implementation, layer 3 architecture upgrade, worked with Cisco 6509, 3750 and Nexus switches. Worked a/b n and g WIFI networks (access points and antennas).
Worked closely with Wintel engineering on the fleet server virtualization.
Built the data center and remote hub closet architecture on the new builds and replaced them on the dry dock ships.
