The Supply & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for dispatching, inventory management, freight optimization, load shifting and common carrier performance within the Transport Division. This position works extensively with various departments throughout the Colonial family as well as external partners. This is a fast-paced environment that will require quick thinking, flexibility, follow-through, and thorough communication. The position will demonstrate the company’s core values of Integrity, Service, Entrepreneurship and Family. The Supply & Logistics Coordinator will report to the Supply & Logistics Supervisor.

• Manage customers’ inventory levels by analyzing sales trends to determine reorder points.

• Understand and manage asset utilization for full load optimization and opportunity.

• Process and dispatch all sales/customer order requests.

• Ensure third party carrier and internal driver execution meets Colonial’s operational standards.

• Maintain integrity of the dispatching software by ensuring all data is accurate and organized.

• Responsible for managing all open orders after confirming deliveries have been made within the mandated and established timeline.

• Work with fuel carriers and the supply team to maintain adequate fuel inventory for all customers.

Dispatching: Servicing the entire Southeast to assure all of customers’ needs are taken care of in a

timely manner. Tends to the needs of the 25 technicians that I must skillfully dispatch to time sensitive calls to assure that the customer as well as the company is mutually benefited.

• Follow up on completed service calls to verify customer satisfaction and promote service
