WESTERN AIRDUCTS INDIA PVT LTD (KUDANKULAM NUCLEAR POWER PLANT – NPCIL) Currently employed as an Assessed Quality Engineer (VACF package) at Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plants 3&4. Rolls & responsibilities undertaken

• Incoming material inspection IMIR.

• DPT testing, fit up, and visual examination of the weld are being evaluated.

• Coordination with the client for report signing and inspection.

• The training program will conduct to welders, machine operator, helpers, grinders, supervisors.

• Procedure and quality plan, WPS and PQR, and other documentation preparation and maintaining.

• Welding and fabrication related problems will be analyzing.

• Instruments & welding machine Calibration checking monthly & we will do the in house calibration and maintains documents.

• To keep a log record for the Fabricated & inspected items.

• To keep a record of the consumable usages, such as gas, tungsten electrodes, and filler wire.

• Monitoring the welders & running meters are calculated in every day.

• A test for welder certification will be held.

• Physical verification and inspection are conducted on GI, CS, SS ducts fabricated and erected ducts to ensure with compare to QP.

• The final reports are checked and sent to the customer.

• Documents for the audit should be prepared.

• We use the Russian GOST and PNEAG TU standards here, as well as the Indian IS 513 2016, IS 2062, IS 277 2018, ASME Sec II part c, XI, and V standards.

• Every day, we will do the quality toolbox meetings.

Follow up all the activities from project start to end in-house, Subcontractors, vendors

&managing the projects.

Rolls & responsibilities undertaken

PSLV - S139, S200 motor case fabrication -plate preparation of welding & rolling machine, CNC machine (Special purpose drilling, turning, milling, shearing and cutting) and furnace operating.

Special purpose Instruments handling like (Unimaster, paragon level). Regularly used in Micrometer, Vernier caliper, height gauge, combination set, dial gauge, ultrasonic thickness gauge, portable CMM (Ferro) inspector etc.

Welding inspection and Nondestructive test (UT, RT, PT and MT) report making and review.
