personnel in the production of gears for the automotive, heavy equipment, and aerospace industries

production goals, continuous improvement, KPI's, staffing, and adherence to AS9100 & AS13100

standards.

January 2022 to December 2022

Production Supervisor for a state of the art magnesium and aluminum foundry serving the aerospace

industry and our military. I respectfully guide over 155 employees through the casting process ranging

from welders, bench grinders, RGA specialists, product engineers, x-ray technicians, sales, purchasing,

quality and HR personnel to name a few.

I was responsible for allocating materials thru processing. Such as oversized aluminum plates that needed

to be cut accordingly. Commercial customers would arrive and I would designate what materials were to

be processed and which equipment would be best suited. Forklift,

equipment necessary for commercial recycling processes.

Marina Supervisor/Deckhand

August 2011 to June 2013

(Seasonal) Managed and Assisted in the operation of a high-class marina that offered dry storage along

with all other marina amenities. Removed boats from warehouse with forklift and set up/docked boats

per customer specifications. Serviced and flushed motors as needed when they returned. All standard

building maintenance performed such as garage door servicing, cutting/welding, etc.

Vice President-Production

Kobra USA/Kobra Molds

February 2008 to July 2011

Managed a state of the art steel production facility. Specialized in the design and manufacturing of

large steel molds used for the production of concrete blocks all over the world. As Vice President, my

sole responsibility was to manage all day-to-day operations and increase/maintain our current book of

business. This included a production facility consisting of 32 in house employees and a sales staff of 6

operating from various positions in the western hemisphere. Departments operated included CNC

Machining/Milling/Turning, CAD Design/Engineering, Welding, Cutting, Assembly, Painting and

Packaging, and an office staff for HR, Accounting/Treasury, Purchasing/Tooling, etc.

Welder

January 1995 to December 2008

Welded parts precisely to print. Using MIG and TIG welding machines mostly. Also used torches to bend

a variety of materials per drawing. Parts varied from large heavy duty weldments to complex multipart

assemblies with very tight tolerances. Welds had to be strong, precise, and aesthetically pleasing. This

is where I learned the art of working with steel. Having to learn how the steel reacts to a multiple array

of elements.

Managed all production and manufacturing related business. All personnel and production practices.

Included planning/scheduling within customers expected completion date. Managing day-to-day factory

and building responsibilities. Troubleshooting and any possible warranty situations. Communicating with

customers concerning rush orders or priority situations.

Production Foreman

January 1998 to December 2003

Managed entire production floor. This included responsibilities similar to above but on a smaller and

domestic scale.

Cutting Machine/Saw Operator

January 1994 to December 1995

Was responsible for the material ordering/inventory, loading/unloading, and preparing steel blanks for

the milling department. This included the programming/operation of a CNC oxygen/acetylene and plasma

torch cutting table, a large horizontal band saw, and chop saw for smaller parts. Steel sizes ranged from

8" plate to 1/8" sq flat stock. Generally using mild carbon steel.
