June 1 2020- Present

I am currently working as a back office registered medical assistant. Where I Assist with General Cardiology . I do telephone triage, vitals, ekgs, assist in patient rooming and suture removal for post surgical patient follow up. I also do scheduling referrals and assist in surgical scheduling, medication refills with prior authorization, completing cardiac clearances and also assist with stress testing both treadmill and pharmacological, echocardiograms, and give quality patient care everywhere I go because I travel and to assist my team as a resource help in multiple clinics.

April 2017- May 2019 I was working as a back office medical assistant. Where I Assist in Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology clinic. I did phone triage, vitals, ekgs, assist in stress testing both treadmill and pharmacological, echocardiograms, and give quality patient care.

February2016-April 2017- Surgical Medical Office for 3 General Surgeons. I am a back office Medical Assistant. Currently assisting patient with rooming in, recording vitals in our next gen EMR system, taking their past medical history, and medications list. Doing Pre-op, and Post-op surgery appointments, as well as getting surgical and cardiac clearance prior to surgery date. I also take care of the Precertification on the patients insurance for their upcoming procedures, filling out their medications and counseling patients on Prop and PostOp instructions. I also assist in office surgical procedures. And assist in nurse visits for wound care assist in change dressing, packing, and cleaning.

August 2012- Present CAREGIVER-I was currently assisting a cancer patient with daily duties. From transportation to and from home to Dr. Appointment to assisting in basic daily living activities. Which include cooking, bathing, dressing, medication aid, cleaning and therapy.

August 2012-April 2013 UANT – Urology Associates of North Texas call center switch board operator taking calls inbound at a call center. Scheduling appointments and assisting in patient care over the phone.

Assisted them on placing their orders on the tele-track system and help find lost orders and re-ordered allocated medication from other manufactures to meet deadline on expectations for their customer needs.
