Position Overview
POSITION OVERVIEW: Apollo is seeking a Director to join their expanding New York City-based Product Management team as part of Client & Product Solutions ( CPS). The Director will specialize in one of two areas, either asset backed finance or private equity &/or secondaries with a specific focus o n global wealth offerings. The Director will assist in coordinating new product launches, facilitate material & co ntent required by either funds or prospective investors, support the growth & maintenance of various product lines, manage active fundraise processes & work with i nternal & external stakeholders. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Partner with Product Management, Client Portfolio Managers (CPMs), and investment professionals to manage all aspects of the Product Management function for products eit her in our Asset-Backed Finance or Private Equity/Secondaries vertical.
• Collaborate with Product Management, CPMs and other key stakeholders to formulate, update and continuously aim to strengthen Apollo’s strategic messages to both prospective and existing investors with effective and timely presentation material.
• Collaborate on product co ntent and the refresh of materials on a consistent basis; strive to equip sales t eams & investment professionals with best-in-class marketing/support (e.g., whitepapers, performance talking points, content for webcasts, etc.)
• Work with Product Team heads to ensure co nsistency in messaging and information relayed externally.
• Managing aspects of supporting & reporting on active f undraises within their purview.
