Work Experience

Journeyman Electrician

Entertainment Partners-Los Angeles, CA

August 2016 to Present

The position of a Journeyman Electrician involves good work ethic, intensive labor, a lot of problem- solving, leadership, & team work in order for our department to operate efficiently in the professional work environment. We provide all of the power (electricity) to film sets & then we light the set with a variety of sources. It is a team building environment with ample opportunity throughout the day where we need to provide solutions to cover our end of the spectrum. I've worked on hundreds of film productions. I've been positioned at the head of the department working directly with the cinematographer, leading crews of up to 5-6 people. I've been the second man up from the head of the department, coordinating with all members of our department, as well as other departments such as Transportation, Production, & Production Design departments to ensure that we are able to execute our job efficiently. I've also been in the position of a Set Lighting Technician, the base of the department, doing everything asked of me by the two that are leading the department & finding ways to do the tasks in the most efficient manner. Even as a Set Lighting Technician, there is a great sense of leadership that needs to be had by certain individuals that are SLTs that can take the lead on particular tasks that other members of the department may or may not be as experienced with. Just about everything is learned in the field, so if you do not have any experience with a particular task, one of the other SLTs that does have experience will be the one who teaches you how it is done.

Sales Representative

The Shot Zone-Woodland Hills, CA

May 2016 to January 2017

My position was to check in current clients into the facility, which was a basketball gym facility. Whenever new potential clients would walk in which was pretty often, I’d give them a walk thru of the entire facility & explain everything that we had to offer. I’d demonstrate how the machines worked & the way everything operated within the gym. Then I’d offer them the monthly package, or they could choose to just pay by the hour instead which was much less cost effective. Customer Service Clerk

Publix-Mableton, GA

November 2014 to April 2016

My position was a Customer Service Clerk & my tasks varied throughout the day from cashier, to bagging groceries, & assisting the majority of our customers I’d bag for out to their cars & putting the items into the car. There was no significant accomplishments, but I was indeed the only bagger on the entire roster that they would allow running the cash register as well. I was exceptional at bagging, so they figured I’d probably be competent enough to run the register. Then I became the fastest in the store on the register in no time. So they would make sure to schedule me to be on the register for every holiday when it would be extremely busy.

At this point, whenever they would hire new clerks, they would have me train them. This company, as most grocery stores, did not have janitorial positions. CS Clerks were required to complete all janitorial duties in the middle of the day & before closing. Cleaning the restrooms, sweeping the store, running the floor cleaning machine throughout the store & not only running the machine, but required to maintenance it as well.

Food Court Attendant

The Water Ice Company-Atlanta, GA

October 2013 to April 2014

This position here was my very first job that I worked throughout my senior year of high school at a food court in the downtown mall. My responsibility was every position, literally. My daily duties were everything from opening & closing the store, to wiping down the snack serving displays. Preparing the popcorn machine, pre-packaged cotton candy, & hot dog/sausage rollers before opening the storefront. Heating up the fryer & preparing funnel cake mix as well as serving it when the customers ordered it, hot & ready to serve in a matter of a few minutes. We also had milkshakes on the menu. Running the cash register, whenever we ran out of coins I had to improvise & run over to the little convenient store 75 feet away to get change for bills.

After about 5 months of working there, the owner asked if I knew anyone that would be interested in a position. I was able to get a good friend of mine from school hired who was looking for a job at the time. Then I earned experience in training an associate in the work environment for the first time.
