Help Shift Supervisor make sure that the startup list is properly completed along with the correct info on the startup labels and that the right product is in front of the production line
• Make next production list set of labels
• Ensure that all info is correct on the labels
• Make sure the correct weight, count of internal product of a case is on the production tag, and the production tag has the correct case count for inventory
• I have to count and inventory the second hand product and garbage product and ensure the product going to inventory has all the correct info on the production tag
• Help Shift Supervisor complete shut down list and ensure all info on my shut down/set-up labels are correct and all finished product and graded out product is properly tagged for next shift to start up without any problems
• Was promoted to production supervisor in 7/2013
• Check startup check list to make sure all packaging materials, package labels, and product is correct for first run of the shift
• Would have to ensure that proper amount of people were at the line on time and from the correct staffing agency then give the team a startup talk on what needs to be done and watched out for according to customer specs
• Would have to fill out rsvps forms and sqf forms and apply all packaging labels for every order or every 2 hours with actual facts on the product and or packages that are being ran
• Had to check customer specs and requirements before every order to ensure that only the best quality would go out to the customer and that all packaging materials and stickers where correct and applied
• At the change of every order I would have to call a commodity team to bring the correct product and case count along with the proper materials and labels to the production line
• In-between every run I would have to use my best time management skills to be able to change from 1 production order to the next in 5mins or less. that includes packaging materials and product all will be changed and people are given instructions on what needs to be done
• At the start of every run would have to verify all package labels made by my admin were correct and match the label request form that I have to fill out sign and date stating it matches my pick sheet
• Every hour would have to update my pick sheet to ensure that there has or has not been any orders added or removed if added I would call scheduling to confirm, update my manager, call commodity to order the product needed to the line, check customer spec sheet to grad all the right materials, have admin make the new labels that I need and check them to customer spec, and then inform my line lead and the production of what to do
