Work Experience

Saleswoman/Pet Counselor

Superstar Puppies-Fairfax, VA

June 2023 to Present

As a Pet Counselor at Superstar Puppies, I have efficiently learned how to sell top quality designer puppies. My job is to sell puppies priced between $4,000-$9,000 each and take care of them and the space that they are living in. I answer leads, make phone calls, and schedule appointments to bring customers in and provide them with expertise on everything about our puppies and business that makes it unique and top quality. I have put my all into this job and have worked my way up to earning commission, a raise and respect from my managers and coworkers. I am now able to sell a median of 3 puppies a week for an average cost of $16,500. I really value, and appreciate everything this job has taught me and I’m looking to possibly move forward in sales and gain more knowledge and skills at another company! Server/Waiter

Uncle Julio's-Arlington, VA

May 2022 to July 2022

Serving at Uncle Julios gave me great experience on how to serve at an externally fast past manner. From putting chips and salsa and greeting customers as soon as they sit down, to running other tables food, it taught me a ton about efficiency when in the kitchen and trying to do the absolute best. My duties while working at Uncle Julios were serving 5-6 tables at a time, refilling chips, salsa, drinks, etc, running mine and others food and alcoholic drinks, getting beans and rice, cleaning my section before and after guests, rolling silverware, stacking dishes, and cleaning up the restaurant after it closed. I really did enjoy this job and I would still be there today but unfortunately, one of the bartenders came in extremely drunk and management had me serve him. He continued to flirt with me and management did absolutely nothing about it until the next day there were rumors that he said inappropriate things about me and I just felt very uncomfortable at my work place which was supposed to be a family and a time to take my stress away and focus on work. Overall, I loved serving at a family restaurant like this and would love to find a place that would offer much higher pay and more respect to their workers. Server/Hostess/Cashier

Thai Chili 2Go-Surprise, AZ

December 2021 to March 2022

My Cashier position at Thai Chili 2 Go gave me even more amazing customer service skills and helped me grow with working as a team. My duties while working we’re cleaning tables and floors, restocking any items that we’re getting low, preparing rice and drinks for customers, taking customers orders and explaining the menu, answering any questions that they had, checking to make sure food was prepared correctly, and bagging orders to go. This was a very positive job for me! It was a great fit but unfortunately, I got Covid-19 and had to take 2 weeks off. By the time I was not sick any longer, my manager had found another person to take my place.

Harris Teeter/Fry’s-Tysons, VA

October 2020 to December 2020

As a Personal Shopper, I would greet customers with respect and empathy at all times, see their online order, and go down each aisle and collect scan and bag each item. If the item they wanted was out of stock, I would get a similar item and price as the item they wanted and would call them and ask if that was okay and tell them their order will be ready soon. Afterwards, I would go to the register and print out stickers for each bag, scan them, and bring then downstairs to the fridge cabinets and freezers to store them while the customer was on their way. I only had this job for a short while, because all the moving around wasn't really for me. But I learned a ton from this job, including how to act as a sales associate with respect and showing the best customer service I could have at all times. I also learned how to do a lot of work in a fast passed manner.
