Panda Express was the first job I’ve ever had, and I’ve met some amazing people I know to this day. This job mostly taught me how to work with my team to get daily operations done and how to rely on myself when working alone.
● Communication skills - Mostly when it comes to cooks and staff.
● Decision-making skills - Mostly when it comes to cooking, cooking what first because anything we cook takes time and you just have to cook it fast and good.
● Training and developmental skills - Helping new employees when it comes to cooking, how to cook it and what ingredients to use for that certain food.
● Organizational skills - Label, correct order of food and prep food throughout the day.
● Leadership skills - Making sure food is made correctly, Labeling correctly, making sure customers are getting their food, and placing employees in the right locations.
● Strategic thinking skills - Making quick and effective decisions based on the company needs.
● Technical skills - This mostly goes with opening and closing down the store, putting the code in and checking for fire.

● Technical skills - We mostly used a computer and when we had to deliver cars we had to use the tablet but we did a lot of reports using the computer.

● Organizational skills - This mostly included keeping the office clean and keeping up with files.
● Customer Service - We mostly wrote contracts, reserved date and time for the customer, while making the customer happy.
● Problem solving - This mostly included car problems and customers not being happy with the car they got.
● Conflicts - Customers not returning the car on time, or insurance not wanting to pay for the rental.

At Swensons Drive-In I’ve also met some amazing people, and I loved what I did. This was my first taste of being in a higher position and I enjoyed every bit of it because it gave me the opportunity to rely on myself and my team, while making difficult decisions.
● Communication - This was mostly used when taking out food, getting it cooked on time.
● Teamwork - Working together to serve and cook the food .
● Active Listening - Listening to the teachings.
● Time Management - Getting the food out on time, 5 minutes wait at best.
● Marketing - Suggesting new items, milkshakes and poster designs.
● Recruitment - Suggestijt and hiring new people.
● Organization - Staying clean, and area clean, as well as around the building.
