Civista Bank – Mortgage Manager 2020 - Present

• Develop and leverage COIs to maximize residential mortgage loan origination – purchase market focused

• Ensure proper UX, processing efficiency, disclosure/compliance, and procedural turn-times are observed on a constant basis

• Act as multi-departmental project manager to remedy pipeline gaps/logjams and workflow timing/coordination issues

(both internally and externally)

• Advise the Bank on throughput initiatives designed to identify/alleviate end-to-end operational stress-points and to re- scale/re-task multiple departments

Everything But The House (EBTH) – General Manager/Director of Operations 2017 - 2020

• Architected change management initiatives/comprehensive departmental restructuring efforts to model for overall company new-market expansion

• Revamped end-to-end operational throughput processes (including but not limited to client onboarding, inventory intake/processing, website photography/video, single-touch warehousing/logistics/shipping, field team optimization)

• Oversaw multi-channel market revenue/business development effort

• Implemented restructured compensation model for all sales/distribution positions within the company consistent with desired position-specific behaviors

• REASON FOR LEAVING – job eliminated once COVID hit Buckeye State Bank – Vice President, Mortgage Banking Manager 2015 - 2017

• Invited to join the Bank and build de novo mortgage division from scratch

• Executed each mortgage lending function first-hand (including but not limited to origination, processing, disclosures, vendor/wholesaler selection and management, policy creation, compliance management, post-close tasks, pricing/margin authority)

• Authored and implemented comprehensive mortgage training for branch management/other customer-facing employees

• Impacted the organizations overall objectives as a member of the Bank’s Marketing Committee, Compliance Committee, and Asset/Liability Committee

• REASON FOR LEAVING – job eliminated in July 2017 Citizens Bank (company no longer exists) – Vice President, Retail Production Manager 2009 - 2015

• Led the Bank’s retail division’s P/L and budgeting processes as well as the Bank’s marketing strategy and execution

• Directed a division of financial professionals over a multi-location footprint to secure and service comprehensive commercial and consumer banking relationships

• Enacted Bank-wide initiatives to maximize product/pricing strategies, operational efficiencies, and collective sales acumen.

• Optimized the Bank’s commercial credit analysis and documentation processes to minimize turn-times resulting in quicker asset growth and increased earnings

• Selected as a member of Bank’s Asset/Liability Committee and Loan Committee

• REASON FOR LEAVING – opportunity to build my own mortgage division at Buckeye State Bank…plus Citizens Bank has been bought and my ongoing job status was uncertain

Fifth Third Bank - Assistant Vice President, Retail Branch Management 1995 - 2009

• Directed $100MM balance sheet; oversaw consumer lending practices, regulatory compliance, auditing, and staff development across three markets throughout multiple states.

• Grew profit center to $5MM annually - achieved profitability growth of between 20-40% annually

• Managed the growth and compliance of a commercial loan portfolio of approximately 75 credits (including past dues, coming dues, and statement tracking)

• Led 35 downline reports including 3-4 managers; developed strategic direction for the team to drive top-dollar deals within small business banking, consumer deposits/loans, and securities/investment services

• REASON FOR LEAVING – value of my stock options plummeted during 2009 market correction and never recovered…entrepreneurial DNA drive my decision to move on EDUCATION
