Process Engineer II, 6/2023 to Current

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors (Honeywell – ESS) – Baton Rouge, LA

• Qualified as unit engineer/technical support for 4 units Effluent treatment facility, Thermal Oxidizer unit, Calcium Chloride unit, and Chlorotrifluoroethylene unit using previous experience and knowledge to safely operate and meet production goals.

• Ran daily production reports reading KPIs and quality reports to maintain, adjust, and improve unit operations.

• Completed 12+ MOCs and PSSRs for various improvement projects within one’s responsible units.

• Completed 60+ PHA revalidation action items including creating scopes and field verifying relief valves’ rupture discs, pressure switches, and DCS alarms that require an operator’s response.

• Completed relief valve validation of reactive force data for the entire Honeywell BR site.

• Created batch cycle time tracker that manages reactor cycle times, identifies downtimes/equipment issues, and increases production runtime reaching reactor batch cycle targets of less than 6 hours.

• Completed a Nitric Acid Sister Pump Project saving the company $104,000 of plant downtime in essence of main pump failure and producing off quality product. Worked as project coordinator coordinating operations, maintenance, I&E, and project contractors to complete the project on time within project budget.

• Work directly with operations, maintenance, and I&E providing technical support with direction of process optimization using KPIs improving the efficiency of the production and waste processes.

• Created a tracking system to manage packaged material for warehouse supervisors, with a result exceeding packaging target of 28 MT/day.
