As a Senior Business Analyst/Product Owner, I served as an integral member of the Product Management Office developing the National Healthcare Safety Network Link (NHSNLink) App. In this critical role, I partnered closely with our technology partners and infrastructure teams, to not just deliver business value to our customer, but also to drive modernization efforts across the application stack to a cloud-based solution.

Cloud Migration: Supported the technical migration from a legacy system to cloud-based solutions, working in close collaboration with the development and DevOps teams to ensure a seamless transition and modernization of the IT infrastructure of NHSNLink App.

Requirements Gathering/Documentation: Collaborated with NHSN stakeholders to ensure the Systems Requirements Specification (SRS) document was updated with efforts such as real time Provider directory data and EHR integration requirements.

Project/Product Management: Employing tools like Microsoft Project and Excel, collaborated with the Project manager to create roadmap, while prioritizing the backlog to ensure it aligns with the current priorities and timeline of the project. Ensured that all Jira tickets were tied to an Epic and Stakeholder requirement for each fix version and milestone for our Cloud migration.

Agile Methodology: Managed the Agile NHSNLink digital transformation by facilitating and actively participating in Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, planning, and retrospective employing tools like Microsoft Teams, Jira and Confluence.

As a Senior Business Analyst in the Portfolio and Project Management Office of Louisiana Medicaid, I served as a Senior consultant for two workstreams, the Provider Enrollment Portal Enhancement and Electronic Visit Verification. My leadership geared in gathering business requirements to ensure enhancements to Louisiana Medicaid Provider Portal and Electronic Visit Verification, while being regulatory and compliant with CMS guidelines.

Product Enhancement: Collaborated with Stakeholders to lead the “Big Rock” initiative of process improvement to our Provider Enrollment Portal. Enhanced and owned the enrollment experience within a dynamic and rapidly evolving landscape by introducing rapid enhancements needed for1Providers to ensure they can meet Medicaid deadlines for their claims and encounters.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Approval: Held meetings twice a week with Louisiana Department of Health, State and Federal Stakeholders to elicit requirements and seek approvals for Provider Enrollment enhancements, employing tools like Microsoft Excel templates and SharePoint.
