Responsibilities of work @ Manaksia and Grintex India: Replying Customer / Client’s queries / clarifications related to the Work Order. Detailed modeling of warship completely for new design ship project which included descriptive details of the structural configurations and analyses (Static, Modal, Harmonic) of descriptive FE model to assure the design calculations of scantlings, loads, materials etc. Modeling, meshing, analysis, design & detail engineering of various ship structures (Steel structure) using general purpose finite element software application such as ANSYS to extract various results such as deformations, stiffness, Von-mises stresses, frequencies at different modes, velocity, acceleration and reaction forces etc. Prepared decks plan, shell expansion, transverse section, longitudinal sections, floors & stringer arrangements, pillar girder & structural profile drawings for whole ship using CAD software application AutoCAD. Feasibility study in terms of location and accommodation of equipment & system in general arrangement of ship & preparation of scrutiny of layout drawings.
Prepared excel spread sheets for calculation of section modulus of ship sections, Scantling design,hull girder response, structural efficiency, superstructure, heeling arm and local & global load calculations as per various ship rules. Designing structures for customer requirement & translating design model using various tools. Planning detailed engineering activities and finalization of requirements and specifications. Building up database management of technical data package for equipment details for local intranet website. Performing naval architecture calculations & spread sheets preparation for Weight distribution, scantling optimization, and design calculations of ship as per standard naval shipping rules.
