Construction Equipment Sales/Operation: Branch management in the Chicago area construction equipment rental market
EXPERIENCE
JANUARY 1 2015 – NOVEMBER 8 2019
OWNER AND SALES REPRESENTATIVE, SKYKING LIFT RENTALS, INC. Started and built an aerial lift rental business with 2 partners that currently has over 800 rental units and 16 employees. Monthly revenues well over $500K per month. Original duties included all facets of operation and sales. Maintaining, servicing, transportation, sales and administrative duties. After hiring multiple employees and signing a union contract, my duties became primarily focused on sales. Visiting construction jobsites and contractor offices to build a larger customer base to occupy our rental fleet. I unloaded the first 50 units on ‘day one’ and subsequently developed a customer base that resulted in over 750 units on rental contracts as of November 1, 2019.
JUNE 1 2003 – NOVEMBER 1 2015
OWNER SALES, LIFT WORKS, INC.
Started and built an aerial lift company with 3 partners that, at the time of my departure, had over 1,000 units on rental contracts and billed over $1,000,000 per month. My original duties included transportation and service and sales. I became exclusively sales and generally covered the construction sites and offices in the Chicago city limits.
June 1 2000 – JUNE 1 2003
OWNER/OPERATOR LUNAR LIFT RENTALS, INC.
Started and operated a small lift company that consisted of a pickup truck and trailer and 12 electric scissor lifts. I eventually built the fleet to over 50 units and a single axle rollback truck and was billing approximately $25,000
-$30,000 per month. I incorporated my fleet and customer base into Lift Works, Inc. fleet.
