Build snowplow blades using a setup jig and cut/stamped pieces. Tack/ weld in to place with MIG welding process and make sure there are no defects. Load and unload blades and blade parts from robot welder. Set blade into cleaning jig and use angle grinders, die grinders, and scaling/needle gun to remove defects and have uniform welds throughout blade. Practiced proper housekeeping to keep work area clean and free of fire and tripping hazards. Keep tools and equipment in proper working order and fix/ replace if not in working order.

Welded in multiple positions to complete foundations, assemblies, and unit blocks of ships. Used pulse-arc, flux core, and stick welding to complete jobs and used angle grinders, die grinders, and needle/ scaling guns to fix any imperfections for a uniform weld. Practiced line control to keep welding leads and air lines out of walk ways to avoid tripping hazards and practiced good house keeping to keep work areas clean of debris, fire hazards, and tripping hazards. Wore proper PPE and used the right equipment to complete jobs in confined spaces. Used man-lift to reach areas to be welded on outside of the ship and units of the ship. Maintained tools and welding equipment to proper working order and fixed or replaced when not working right. As a crew lead man I helped with setup of equipment, equipment issues, checking work for imperfections and completion.
