MATERIAL HANDLER 3/PHOENIX UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT #210/AUGUST 2007-NOVEMBER 2010

All general warehouse duties including;accepting many deliveries from vendors,(mostly UPS and Fed Ex),receiving them into the warehouse via purchase order and tracking shipments via paper trail as well as computer system(Munis)in correspondence with accounts payable.Once received in items had to be processed to make sure they were the correct item ordered on the PO.After this was verified item(s) could be grouped together with all of the items for shipment for whatever particular school out of 18 different high schools in the district.A 26ft. box truck with air brakes was used for the deliveries which also required the use of both electric and manual pallet jacks.A class B CDL was needed for operation of the box truck.Other smaller trucks were used for deliveries as well not requiring a CDL.The warehouse also kept a general stock of equipment used for mechanical purposes and janitorial for the district.Items no longer in use by the district were either disposed of or recycled via metal management.
