Medical Technician

Conduct lab tests in the areas of hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, serology, and immunology. Prepares chemical solutions, reagents and specimens for microscopic examination perform lab testings, analysis and report findings and investigate atypical results and discrepancies.

Skills: Able to perform Cell count, Urinalysis, body fluid analysis, Cytology, Serology and Hematology testing. Chemistry testing including Metabolic and electrolyte panels, liver, renal and thyroid function testing, screenings and routine cultures. Able to performs lab analysis on instruments such as Vista Siemens, Cobra 502/602, Beckman Coulture, Rosche Chem analysis, Sysmex (blood samples), ACL TOPS (coag samples), Cellavision (slides) and IQ200 (urine sample.
