Currently monitors the cancellation process to ensure compliance for all of the clinics that I schedule for. Advise supervisor of challenges and opportunities for improvement for the cancellation process and ensuring Veterans are rescheduled in a timely manner. Which are steps used when monitoring the clinic grids and clinic profiles to ensure adequate time slots are available for patient scheduling needs
Follow all HIPAA laws, local policies and ethics when collecting, reviewing and validation information such as Open encounters, Clinic utilization (CUSS), future utilization (CAAR), patient demographics, etc.
Monitor the use of my clinics to advise program manager about clinic utilization so that clinic slots may be increases or decreased. Met with and advised the COS office when my clinic CHAR4 code was incorrect and advised MCA to review stop codes to ensure that maximum reimbursement was received. Resulting in the CHAR4 code being corrected and validation that the stop codes were correct. Completed conference calls with data team member from the COS office to ensure clinic profiles were accurate, performs constant monitoring of clinic profiles
