Introduction:

Fairley East are oil bearing reservoir blocks located in the West Asset Area 3 approximately 4km north of FADP01 platform. It is an amplitude-supported one-way dip closure bounded by two northeast – southwest oriented faults which hades to the northwest. The faults merge towards the crest in the southwest to form a trap. The total HCIIP of 53 mmboe is split across the 2 blocks (block 2A and 2B) and 4 reservoirs, i.e., BT2, BT3, BT4 and BV1. The Competitive Concept Identification Workshop (CCID) in March 2019 kicked off a concept re-evaluation of the project with Greenfield platform development, synergizing with other similar projects as part of BSP’s Conveyor Belt Low Cost Platform portfolio (LCD).

The most competitive development concept was selected which consist of a 3-well development, using archetype, with LCD platform tie-back directly to FAGP04 via a HP #600 8.5km non-metallic pipeline (FCP). Simplex Infrastructures Limited, Qatar
