PROJECT 1: Elixir Solutions for Pharma Client

Project: Elixir Solutions

Role: QA AEM Test Lead

The project required to build a new website for Elixir Solutions with Digital experiences using AEM Content management tool based on a new requirement. The requirement was broken down into small chunks in sprints. The Business Analyst, Dev and QA Team had to work as per the sprint schedule to cover all the requirements in it which lasted for 2 weeks. Website launch was successfully performed in the given time.

Roles and Responsibilities:

•Conduct Functional and regression testing of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and its core components, including Sites, Assets, Content and Experience Fragments. Document and track defects in JIRA, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.

•Testing AEM Sites by Generating new content, or editing existing content, on a page, using predefined templates to create new content pages.

•Testing AEM Assets by Creating, editing, and managing assets and collections. Also, worked on workflows that control how changes are managed.

•Anchor testing requirements. Understand the requirement and highlight any discrepancies/gaps found, discuss with the Business Analyst and log the defects found during requirement phase.

The Tractor Supply Company Project was aimed at giving a digital experience to the retail website. Adobe Experience Manager was used to develop the Project to give the website a digital experience. Worked as a Dev Tester. Worked directly with the Development Team and was involved to test the website on every build that Dev Team worked on.

Roles and Responsibilities:

•Performed Functional and regression testing of AEM sites/assets.

•Worked on AEM Assets Testing. Tested by mapping different parameters of the Assets on the website and Adobe Experience Manager Content Management System

•Performed API testing using Postman.

•Worked very efficiently with the Project lead on the daily tasks given by them, worked daily on creating test cases of the build to be done on that day and executed the test cases as the build was finished.

•Documented Test case results report and logged defects and communicated very effectively to the Dev and Project Lead. Tested Defects as soon as it was deployed by the Dev Team and provided feedback as required.

PROJECT 3: Covid Vaccine Scheduler HyperCare Project

Project: Covid Vaccine Scheduler HyperCare Project

Role: Offshore Project Lead and AEM Tester

Hyper care Team was established to support highest priority issues coming from the COVID Vaccine Scheduler. As, World was witnessing the deadliest pandemic during COVID times. The Vaccine was the biggest hope to combat it and so was the project handling and supporting it. The Project Objective was to handle any Major Incidents, P1, P2 from the Customer Portal and the Pharmacy Portal applications. The team had to handle issues that the Customer was facing in scheduling the vaccine appointments on the Customer Portal and any technical issues that the Pharmacy was facing on the Pharmacy Portal of Rite Aid Pharmacy. Also, handling change requests and additional requests to configure vaccine types with pharmacy or to modify the vaccines on the pharmacy based on client request. Also, to support and monitor the Dyna Trace tool. A tool used for monitoring and assessing the health of the system.

Roles and Responsibilities:

•Worked as a Lead of the Covid Vaccine Scheduler Hypercare Project of Rite Aid Pharmacy Account and Single Point of contact from Infosys Offshore Team. The Primary interface for the customers in case of any escalation/complex issue which required immediate attention. Ensure the right team is engaged and effective communication of issues is accomplished to all stakeholders.

•Worked as a First point of contact for Incident Triaging. Create a Task in Azure DevOps for maintaining records. Analyze the incidents and replicate in the system. Analyze the impact of the issue to open a MI or P1 or to lower down the priority of the issue to P2 based on the agreed Service level agreement of Infosys with the client. Analyze JAVA configuration files are properly configured for the Vaccine Types and the pharmacy. Analyze Batch scheduler files to check Dose 2 Vaccinations has been properly configured. Look into the Dyna Trace Tool to analyze any system errors reported. Based on the analysis, work on the incident and ensure the right team is engaged on each of the incidents reported.

•Test the highest priority incidents (MI or P1) which had a greater impact on the system, ensure end to end testing is performed and ensure Regression Testing is performed to check if the existing functionality is not broken due to the code. Stay back later till the day until the issues is tested, resolved and is working in production without any issues.

•Review Test cases, Test plan and Test case execution performed by QA members. Establish best practices in writing test cases and test case execution.

•Work on maintaining JAVA configuration files independently for the multiple vaccine types as per the client request in bulk and complete it in the agreed SLA time. Configure JAVA files using GitHub and Azure DevOps, deploy the code in Production using Jenkins and test the code in lower and Production environments.

•Conduct a Daily Stand-Up Meeting in the morning with the team to assign work to the team members. Make sure that they are working on the highest priority incidents which had a greater impact in the system. Ensure right team is involved in each of the incidents reported and the High priority Tasks reported by the customer. Help the team members on the blockers and impediments that they face throughout their day and make sure they can work and deliver on resolving the issues in their time zone (IST) before the US Day begins (EST) so that the US business is able to start with the least impact on the vaccine program.

•Participate in the Daily Stand-Up meetings with the customer and communicate Project Status and discuss any blockers and impediments faced by the team. Mentor the team and provide regular feedback and coaching to help them continually improve their performance.

Possess Strong leadership skills to be able to work with both Development and QA teams to get the work done by them in the agreed SLA time. Resolve any conflicts or disagreements within the team members in the Daily Standup calls.

•Create Weekly Status reports to highlight and showcase the work done by the team during the week and share with the client stakeholders.

•Create Shift Plan every month by coordinating with the team members on the Shift Timing to be covered based on their Area of development (UI, AEM, Backend) and communicate Shift Plan to the Customer so that they can contact the team member for the respective shift timing in case of any issues. Accomplish best practices within the team to help maintain discipline in the project and shifts are covered properly for the respective Area of Development. Manage and resolve any conflicts within the team for covering the shifts. Share Shift Data Report with the manager on monthly basis.

PROJECT 4: BRE (Business Rules Extraction) Project

Project: BRE (Business Rules Extraction) Project

Role: Test Lead and Business Analyst

Domain: Credit Insurance

BRE Project was a Reverse Engineering Project where Requirements were extracted out of a 25-year-old Windows based Application to build a Web-based Application. As, the Application was very old hence, no requirement documents were available.

The project was divided into phases. The first phase of the project constituted of the modules covering the most critical functionality. The entire code from that module was extracted. A few lines of code were clubbed together to see if it forms a business requirement, and that data was shared with the Business Analyst so that they can form correct and concise Business rules. Those Business rules were then tested by the QA team to check if the business rules are meaningful and correct by testing in the system. For example- There is a New User Registration Windows Form. A few lines of code is clubbed for a field validation which only accepts numbers. So, a business rule is formed that- The field "Age" must contain only numbers. So the QA Team tests the "Age" field for positive and negative scenario by adding alphabets, numbers, alphanumeric and special characters to test whether the business rules made by Business Analyst is correct or not. After the testing was complete, the correct Business rules were shared with the client for that module which was reviewed by the Client.

Roles and Responsibilities:

•Worked as a Test lead. Divided the different Windows forms between the team members of a given module and worked on testing the Business rules of the assigned Windows Form and reviewed the work done by other QA Team members.

•Clubbed a few lines of code together to see if it forms a business requirement, and then shared the data with the Business Analyst so that they can form correct and concise Business rules. Helped the Business Analyst to form correct rules wherever the test results did not match the Business Rules.
