Responsible for prequalifying suppliers/contractors, negotiating terms and conditions, and executing subcontracts as required for projects. Duties also include developing bid packages, executing purchase orders, expediting, and developing company procedures.

CHICAGO BRIDGE & IRON (CB&I) (2011 – 2016) – Subcontract Director I

Gorgon MEI&C, TIC 6.2 Billion USD, Barrow Island, Australia – Provided Management and Commercial expertise to ensure compliance with design firm and Client. Management of Subcontract team located at various project sites associated with the mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and completion scope for a multi-billion-dollar LNG project on a Class A Nature reserve off the western coast of Australia. Developed a Subcontractor Plan and Subcontracting Strategy to engage the services of more than 125 Subcontractors. Managed Subcontract process related to all project disciplines which includes Request for Quotation (RFQ), Invitation to Tender, bid clarification procedures, contract evaluation criteria, maintenance and implementation of contract strategies, site instructions, disputes and claims, payment, and variation claims. Managed various Subcontract Coordinators tasked with the administration of the subcontracts including but not limited to staffing, mobilization, interfacing with construction and completions to manage the subcontractors’ personnel to meet their day to day needs, as well as invoice review and verification

BP, Mississippi Canyon Spill Recovery, Gulf Coast Regions, AL, FL, MS – TIC 100 Million USD. Served as Deputy Business Manager responsible for all business functions associated with a $100M emergency response onshore spill recovery program on the Alabama Florida Gulf Coast. These responsibilities included but were not limited to the management of invoicing, project controls, procurement, contracting, and time keeping. The work scope required a 9,000+ man workforce for beach cleanup, warehousing, logistics and resource management comprised of four Fluor companies.

Director I – Project Business Services

ConocoPhillips, CORE Wood River Project, Houston, TX – TIC .3 Billion USD. Supervised all finance duties for both Engineering and Construction of an EPCM project for Conoco Phillips at their Wood River site in Roxanna, IL. This involved invoicing of services for engineering services, craft labor, subcontracts and vendor material, other duties include but are not limited to account payables and receivables.

Senior Manager – Project Business Services

Taneco Oil Refinery and Petrochemical Complex, Nizhnekamsk, Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation – TIC 1.0 Billion USD. Responsible for the finance activities for EPCM project to build an Oil Refinery and Petrochemical Complex in Nizhnekamsk, Russia. Responsible for ensuring all Company Policies and Procedures were adhered to as well as the training of local employees to process payables.

Sakhalin NefteGas Service LLC - Yuhzno, Sakhalin Island, Russia – TIC 100 Million USD. Assisted with establishing a Joint Venture Sakhalin NefteGas Service for the modification, maintenance, and service contract with Sakhalin Energy Investment Company. Responsible for the training of the local Russian staff in the use of Client systems and procedures, for the accounting, project controls and IT departments.

United States Embassy, New Embassy Construction, Republic of Kazakhstan, Astana, Kazakhstan – Responsible of all financial, commercial, and business activities associated with building of a new Embassy to the newly relocated Capital of Kazakhstan. Mobilized to an ongoing project to ensure that all Client policies and procedures were in place and adhered to. Department under oversight were accounting, procurement, contracts, human resources, and payroll.

TengizChevroil, SGP/SGI Projects, Atyrau, Kazakhstan – 6.7 Billion USD. Served as Finance Manager for all activities associated with EPC of a $3.5 billion oil and gas joint venture expansion project. Duties and responsibilities included interfacing with Client Management and Accounting personnel, supervision of a 25-member accounting staff comprised primarily of Nationals, which handled all account payable, billing, tax, and general ledger accounting.

Kizomba ‘A’ EPC 2 FPSO Project, Houston, TX, Ulsan, South Korea Ulsan – South Korea – Responsible for all the Client financial and cost issues pertaining to the Kizomba ‘A’ project. Responsibilities included all invoicing to the Client and all cost reporting.
