Profile: While employed by Trinity Rehab Clinic, my duties included greeting the
patients upon arrival, escorting them to their exercise area, supply the patient
with the tools their would need to perform their exercises, teach and/or direct
them through their assigned exercise program. I was responsible for cleaning
of all the equipment used, as well as cleaning the patients exercise area. I
was also responsible for maintaining the patients flow sheets/charts, updating
as needed. I also took care of laundry and total cleaning of all clinical areas.
I worked directly with the Physical Therapist, alerting the Therapist of any
changes occurring with the Patient, and assisting the Physical Therapist as
needed.
While employed by Sports Care Institute, I had the responsibility to greet
the patient as he/she arrives, and immediately attend to his/her care as directed
by the Physical Therapist, according to the patient’s care plan chart, working
with patient, teaching and directing them through numerous exercises, etc, as
well as maintaining the appearance of the patient care area. Assisting the
Physical Therapist as needed. I was also the substitute driver for the office,
transporting patients from their homes to the office for the assigned appointment
and return home transportation.
Keeping the Physical Therapist aware of the patient’s progress, as they work
through their exercise program and disinfected all work areas.
