As Assistant General Manager I was responsible for all hiring, training, scheduling, conducting reviews and scheduling for all FOH employees. I created a very diverse wine list and offered many finer wines by the glass due to the fact we had a cruvinet. All beer, wine, liquor ordering and inventory was my responsibility along with the development of cocktail recipes. I, along with my General Manager worked closely with our chef to create a unique menu that included a variety of exotic game, appetizers and wood fire pizzas. This restaurant was owned by Gander Mountain. We appealed to hunters, fishing enthusiasts, first responders and anyone wishing to enjoy food that no other restaurant nearby offer. Unfortunately Gander Mountain closed their stores in 2015 to go completely online, so the restaurant was forced to close also.
